Login Screen instead of the page

For Visitors

If you are a visitor to a netAdventist website and instead of the page you see a login screen, the content has an access level set so the general public can't see it. If this happens please contact the website administrator and have them check if it should be set to a lower level access.

For Members

If you are a member of a netAdventist website and instead of the page you see a login screen, go ahead and try logging into the site. After login you should be taken to the content. Usually in this case the content has an access level set so the general public can't see it. If you still can’t see the content, it is set to a higher access level. If this happens please contact your website administrator and have them check if it should be set to a lower level access. The homepage setting for Who can view this page? should always be Anyone.

For Site Administrators

If you are receiving reports that your members are seeing the login screen instead of the website content, you will need to check the page and make sure there isn't a higher access level set unless this is how you wish to display your content.

To change the access level for public access you will need to remove the access level. To do this:

  • If you haven’t already done so, Login and go to the dashboard. You are taken to the Site Content tab for the Homepage.
  • Choose the page you need. Select the Edit link at the top of the content page.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Anyone radial button in the Privileges and Sharing panel.
  • Select Save. Your page is now set for public viewing.
