A PDF document can be inserted in a Content Page or in the homepage of your netAdventist website.

  1. If you haven't already done so, Log in and go to the Dashboard. You will be taken to the Site Content tab.
  2. In the horizontal navigation bar at the top, select File Library. In the left navigation bar select Documents.
  3. Select the green Upload Documents button near the top center-right of the page.
  4. Step 1, Choose Files to Upload. Select the Choose Files or Browse button. A browser chooser opens. Choose the PDF file you plan to upload and press Open. Complete step 2 by selecting the copyright checkbox. If you are not authorized to use a file or share it with the public, you should not upload it to your website. Then on step 3 select Start Upload. You will be taken to the Upload files page.
  5. The newly uploaded PDF file now appears in the tab Documents in Library. Select the checkbox by the image you would like to insert and then select which size photo you would like to add. Select Insert.
  6. Select the Site Content tab in the horizontal navigation bar at the top. 7.  Select Content Pages (or Home) and the title of the page where you will add the PDF. Select Edit. Write the text you want the link to contain and use your cursor to select that text. Select the Link Chooser tool in the bottom line of tools 2nd from the end. A dialog box opens. Choose the category File Library- Documents. Next choose the file to link from the second drop down arrow. Check the box if you want the file to open in a new window.
  7. Select Insert and then select the green Save button on the upper or lower right.
  8. Select View Site on the upper right. Select the link on the content page (or Home) to view the file you added. The PDF can be downloaded or printed.

Note: The best way to display a PDF on your site is to link it directly to a Menu item. For further information see the instructions under Documentation for Document Groups.
